Pharo Launcher

The Pharo Launcher has been active use for several years (currently at version 1.1), however I recently started using it. It can be downloaded from the main Pharo site. One hang-up was when choosing a image to start, it opens a dialog like:

Provide the following information
For this, type in the name of the new image to create, not to rename the image listed.

Another issue discovered later is that for MacOS the documents directory where the images are stored is also backed up to iCloud. If one has sufficient space this isn't an issue, but planning helps.

Sometime in 2018, the Pharo 7 images were not correctly starting in Pharo Launcher, the error was:

Cannot determine image version: image version file not found!
Try to run this command in a shell to get more information on the problem:
cd "/Users/jborden/Documents/Pharo/vms/private/6521/Pharo.app/Contents/MacOS...

The easiest way to resolve this problem is to remove $HOME/Documents/Pharo, uninstall PharoLauncher, and re-install a newer version (i.e. 1.4).

For upgrading Pharo Launcher on Linux, it works to copy the files in the archive to ~/bin.
