Refrigerator Reset

For several years I've had a Whirlpool Cafe refrigerator with ice and a coffee maker in the french doors. Long ago the hot water dispenser tap was locked down and the display showed that it was disabled due to an error:

The problem is the hot water dispenser is stuck down (see the metal straw on the right). When this recently happened again a search brought up nothing but advertisements - there is an assymetry of passion. For this particular case, capitalism has made it harder to use the internet, the instructions were only easy to find because someone had put effort to make them findable. When finding something useful, take time to appreciate the effort.

To reset the hot water element this type of fridge:

1. Hold all 3 buttons to enter service mode
2. Enter code 105
3. Exit service mode

Most of this is from memory, so use your best judgement.
