2018-Oct-14 - Several days ago I purchased a reserved instance on AWS, and I expected it would reduce my bill (since i'm running a single node WS). Unfortunately the Billing & Cost Management Dashboard is reporting that I'll pay $17.72 this month instead of $13.26 from September (when I didn't have any reserved instances). So far this month my bill is $8.58.
